    Hi Lily,

Have a good trip to China. Hope all is well with your family. I'm feeling stronger and walking around more. I've been taking some family pictures lately. My godson David just turned 3. He had nice birthday party. Last weekend he went pumpkin picking. I had a fun time getting nice pictures of him at the farm. I'm a bit behind in making an album and editing them. I have been tring to get some autum pppictures but with the rain most of the leaves are comming off the trees here faster than I expected. I'll catch you later, Scott

    Hi Lily,

Thank you for you comment in my GB. I'm so thrilled that everyone likes this picture. It was really a once in a life time picture. Fog like this does not happen by my house very often. the sun was in the perfect place to make this an interesting picture. I took this one before I took the nyip course. I could not control the camera the way I do now. The courses helped me gain back the control I had in film pictures. I do not miss the older film cameras at all. They were fun. Hope you have a nice day. Scott

I did change the white balance on the picture you mentioned I used tungston it changed the colors on the water to blue. I did not have a tripod or mono pod with me. If you use some of the diffrent settings on the camera and have a steady camera a little bit after sundown face the east in the sky away from the sunset. Water will reflect the colors in the changing skys. if it is cloudy it will stay grey but if the sky is blue or violet the water will go to that color without a tungston setting. Put the white balance to sunny. Automatic will take out the colors and make the sky look alright. It makes a more colorful picture. Have a good weekend. Scott

    Hi Surrender,

How are you? i have just finished up some work on restoring an old picture using photoshop. All the work was using the clone stamp to fill in the rips and folds in the original picture. i'm not finished with the pics yet but they look good. I see you took some fireworks picts. The colors look great. I have a few errands to run and i'll check them out later. Have a good day. Your friend, Scott
